Serena Dhaon graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2020, where she majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology and triple minored in Statistics, Leadership Studies, and Psychology. Outside of her academics, she was also President of her Bollywood/Hip-Hop dance team and Vice President of Leadership for UIUC’s only service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. After graduating college, she worked as a clinical research assistant under Dr. Vineet Arora at the University of Chicago and as a medical scribe in a hematology and oncology clinic. Serena is currently an M2 at the Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she serves on the executive boards for the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI).
